Opening ceremonies dress rehearsal:
Tonight is the dress rehearsal and we will all be there. As volunteers we are given a free ticket to this most convented event. No cell phones, cameras or recording devices of any kind are allowed into the BC Place stadium as they want to keep the event top secret. We are to wear white and no Smurf blue volunteer outfits. I will let you know how it was without giving away the secrets. Watch it live on CTV on Friday anyway.
The City of Vancouver and Whistler are electrified with anticipation. Everything is ready. The city is clean, festive and the people couldn't be friendlier. The Organizing group, Vanoc, should be very proud to see the last 6 years of work coming together with such perfection. I love it!
